Announcement of New Executive Director – Please Welcome Ken Norman

It gives the Board of love INC ECC great pleasure to announce the hiring of a new Executive Director to lead into the next 10-year period of service for Love INC ECC. Please welcome Ken Norman, who begins his new role effective Monday, November 28, 2016.

Ken joins the team as a person of great faith in Jesus Christ. His last role was as Principal of Chapel Hill Academy in Chanhassen, where he provided leadership in the daily operations of the school. Prior to this role, Ken served as Executive Director of Love INC Big Woods in Minnesota, and Director of the Vienna Christian School in Vienna, Austria. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Dubuque and Master’s Degree from Texas Tech University. He brings a special blend of skills nurtured from these excellent preparatory roles. He has fund-raising experience, as well as experience working with the faith community and running operations. Please extend your welcome to Ken in this important role.

The near-term areas of focus of the Board and Executive Director include defining the role and expectations of the Board and staff, and refining a clear and shared plan for the next 3-5 years. This will require significant relationship building and sharing of the plan across all stakeholders. We look forward to your support and engagement as we move forward the work of our faith community to more effectively carry out our mission to transform lives in meeting the needs of the neediest in our communities.

Best regards,

Russell St. John

Board Chair – Love INC ECC
