Help Us “Coat” the Community with Love!

Love INC is working with local churches, organizations, and families to collect clean, new or gently used coats, gloves, hats, scarves, snow pants and boots, and dollars to support the coat drive program from now until October 22nd at various locations around Eastern Carver County. Infant, toddler, youth, men’s and women’s coats are accepted. The process is simple: drop off your extra coat(s) and winter wear and Love INC takes care of the rest! All donated coats will be given to local children and adults in need. The lunch program will be held Monday through Friday and begins on June 12th. The program will end on September 1st. (There will be no meals served on July 3rd, and July 4th.)

Families, adults, and children age 10+ are welcome to volunteer! We do ask that children age 10-15 be supervised at all times and a parent must volunteer along side the child. Children over age 15 may be present without a parent but must have transportation available promptly at 2:00 pm.

Help Love INC deliver Thanksgiving Baskets!

Volunteers are needed THIS SATURDAY (November 19) to help Love INC and West Union Lutheran Church deliver Thanksgiving Baskets to local clients in Eastern Carver County.

Volunteers can be couples, families, youth groups… anybody who wants to take a few hours to get out and share God’s message. Volunteers will report to the Chaska Community Center at 10 a.m. to help assemble food baskets using food donations received from the community. Each volunteer group / family will be assigned 2-3 families to whom they will deliver food baskets, spend a little time with each family, and share a prayer with them.

We anticipate this event will take 2-3 hours total, including basket preparation and delivery time.

If you are interested in helping out for this opportunity, please register online or e-mail info@loveincecc.org for additional details.
