FurniShare provides free, gently-used donated furniture to our neighbors in need. Volunteers assist in the warehouse and with deliveries, as well assisting customers, inventorying donations, etc..

Upcoming Love INC Volunteer Opportunities:

Help us make Christmas Cards! 

Love INC is looking for individuals who can help create handmade, Christ-centered Christmas cards to be given out with our Christmas food packs that will be distributed in mid-December! We have two opportunities available to help – Thursday, October 24th (6:30 – 9:00 pm) and Saturday, November 4th (Noon – 3 pm). Both events will be held at Grace Church in Eden Prairie (9301 Eden Prairie Rd., Eden Prairie) in Room 210.


Love INC Coat Drive
Volunteers are needed to help at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Chaska with the set-up of the coat drive on Friday, November 3rd, as well as to help distribute coats on Saturday, November 4th.


Thanksgiving Food Basket Packing & Delivery
Volunteers are needed on Saturday, November 18th to help Love INC and West Union Lutheran Church deliver Thanksgiving Baskets to local clients in the Eastern Carver County area. Volunteers may be couples, families, youth groups…anybody who wants to spend a few hours on a Saturday to help spread God’s message of love. Volunteers should report to the Chaska Community Center Community Room at 10 a.m. to help assemble food baskets using food donations received from the community. Each volunteer group / family will be assigned 2-3 families to whom they will deliver food baskets, spend a little time with each family, and share a prayer with them.


Christmas Food Basket Packing & Delivery
Love INC is partnering with St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Mt. Olivet Lutheran West Church, and Westwood Community Church to pack and bring complete Christmas dinner baskets to local families in need. For just $40, we can provide a family with enough food to prepare a nice Christmas dinner for 8 people – meat, fresh fruits, vegetables, bread, and more! Volunteers are needed to help pack at each church on Saturday, December 16th in the morning. For more information or to register, please click on the church where you’d like to volunteer.

Community Opportunities:

Families Moving Forward Southwest
Families Moving Forward provides shelter for families experiencing homelessness. They do this by partnering with local faith communities and volunteers who host families overnight in their congregational buildings.

Heading Home Scott/Carver
A group of workers meet monthly to work on documenting progress towards the goals outlined in a 10 year plan to end homelessness and to determine what additional action steps need to be taken to accomplish even more.

Launch Ministry
Launch Ministry is a faith-based non-profit organization providing a safe and stable space for young adults between 18-29 years old in Scott and Carver counties. At Launch Ministry, we assist young people in a holistic transition by providing them with tools to develop life skills, opportunities to lead and serve, and by promoting spiritual and character formation. WeCAB is a network of volunteers whose mission is to provide safe, affordable, and flexible supplemental transportation for medical appointments, grocery shopping, community services, worship services, etc. Visit their website at to learn more about available volunteer opportunities or call 1-844-743-3932, press 3, and you will be connected to WeCAB’s Administrative Assistant.
